What is the chronoescalada
A short and intense uphill time trial designed to experience the atmosphere of the UGWS weekend.
with an explosive format. Each participant faces the ascent individually and the objective is simple:
set the best time to the Forte.
The activity is free for 114 Gravel Race (UGWS) registrants, but it requires
previous registration due to limited space.
The Fort of Graça
The Fort of Nossa Senhora da Graça (also known as Forte Count of Lippe)
dominates the hill to the north of Elvas and forms part of the fortified complex of Elvas, which has been declared a
World Heritage. A perfect setting for a short, tough climb with unique views.
The awards ceremony will be held at the fort itself after the end of the time trial.
